A Hong Kong Portrait Collection
A Hong Kong Portrait Collection, commissioned by CLAF

Chao Lee Art Foundation has established A Hong Kong Portrait Collection to honour distinguished residents of Hong Kong.

The inaugural twenty subjects chosen have dedicated their lives to the city and enhanced its heritage through: philanthropy, public service, charity and education.

From unsung local heroes to prominent global figures, the collection will explore what it means to belong, to serve, and to be remembered.

The Collection will culminate in a major exhibition in Hong Kong in 2027.

CLAF seeks to create an artistic legacy for Hong Kong, by starting this significant portrait collection in Asia.  It is Jane Chao Lee’s wish to grow and nurture the collection for the city.

Full list of commissions to be announced in 2027.
